Position Overview

The Senior Technical Designer is a key contributor responsible for leading the technical design and fit process from concept through bulk production. This role partners closely with Clients, Design, Product Development, and Production teams to ensure garments meet aesthetic vision, fit standards, functional requirements, cost targets, and delivery timelines. The ideal candidate brings advanced technical expertise, strong cross-functional communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple product categories and timelines in a fast-paced, consulting-driven environment. Key Responsibilities

Collaborates with Clients, Design and Product Development teams to interpret design intent and proactively influence changes as needed to help endure the product, fit, function, price & delivery goals can be successfully achieved in a bulk production scenario Partner successfully with Client, Product Development, Design and Production teams to ensure the fit and product development process stays in line with production and action timelines. Ability to manage technical design process across various product categories (mens, womens, childrenswear, contemporary, sportswear, active, sweaters, swim) for products manufactured in the US and overseas Create and manage Tech Tracking report for development tracking and garment delivery Consult with Client/Brand on sample size, fit, garment construction, finishing details, etc. to ensure fit is established from initial specs Establishes & records all technical owned garment specifications to direct & enable our world-wide technical partners to develop & produce high quality & appropriately engineered products Leads fit sessions with Clients, Designers & PD by adhering to the established SOP for fit roles & responsibilities guidelines Records fit session comments & ensures plan of action including product status are clearly understood & aligned upon all teams Utilizes Gerber Accumark or Illustrator as needed to expedite & clearly communicate garment specifications & changes. This is preferred. Tracks and manages all fit samples/packages Collaborates to arrange & manage all calendars for each fit session Upholds & improves department specific technical standards, record keeping, process, procedures & tools Requirements & Qualifications

Must be able to be in-person in NYC office for multiple meetings / fittings per week Advanced knowledge of Pattern Making and Garment Construction Strong knowledge of grading, costing, manufacturing, materials and machinery Knowledge of Accumark, Gerber or similar Excel within various product categories: knit, woven, sweaters, active, athleisure etc. Excel within calendar to ensure deadlines are maintained Ability to articulate the fit issues and present solutions during the fit session to cross functional teams. Proven ability to manage multiple products, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Extremely organized, detail oriented and uses time efficiently Strong communication skills a must Experience

7+ years experience in technical design across categories (required) Ability to use Adobe Illustrator to update sketches (required) Bachelor\'s or relevant certificate Ability to work independently and meet multiple deadlines Extremely organized and detail oriented Extremely efficient in time management Ability to write professionally Corporate fashion experience (preferred) Fast-paced, high-energy, and deadline-driven Ever-changing priorities requiring adaptability and strong organization Hybrid work environment with multiple in-person meetings per week in NYC
