Akkodis is seeking a
Consultant
for a
Contract
with a client in
Austin, TX . The ideal candidates are skilled in overseeing global supply chain processes and enhancing system integrations across IDOC/RFC/EDI/API platforms.
Pay Details Rate Range:
$60/hour to $64/hour. The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end S/4HANA (and ECC) implementations across SD/MM/LE/WM, including solution design, fit-gap, configuration, testing, and cutover.
Architect and optimize logistics and supply chain processes (order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, STO, intercompany, consignment, returns, billing, inventory management).
Own integrations and interfaces with suppliers, 3PLs, and planning systems using IDoc/RFC/EDI/XML/API, ensuring performance, reliability, and compliance/archiving.
Guide warehouse operations (WM/EWM) including inbound/outbound, shipping, picking/packing, and inventory control; streamline workflows and master data.
Lead cross-functional teams (onsite/offshore), manage priorities and timelines, and drive issues to root cause with strong stakeholder communication.
Produce detailed functional specs and perform ABAP debug analysis, oversee UAT/training, and enforce governance, documentation, and best practices (BTP, Fiori/UI5, BRF+).
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
8–10 years of hands‑on SAP functional experience in SD/MM/LE/WM, including at least 3 full lifecycle implementations.
Strong expertise in S/4HANA architecture, migration methodologies, and logistics process design.
Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage complex SAP interfaces (IDoc/RFC/EDI/API) across global operations.
