Our client is looking for a Distribution Designer to join the team! This role is remote but will have field time required in the St. Petersburg, FL area. The purpose of the Distribution Designer is to apply technical skills to design safe, cost effective and reliable distribution power facilities for residential, commercial and industrial projects. You will be preparing project and job packages that include material lists, requisitions, labor estimates, site drawings and construction drawings for installations of electrical and power distribution projects in a cost-effective manner. There is full training provided!
Must Haves:
BS in Engineering or Engineering Technology (or equivalent technical degree) with 2+ years of experience. Or Associate Degree in Engineering Technology (or equivalent technical degree) with 5+ years of experience. Or High school diploma/GED with 8+ years equivalent utility experience without a degree.
Prior experience with power distribution design
Comfortable with going in the field
Must be located or willing to relocate to the St. Petersburg, FL area
