Provide virtual instruction across the 9 areas of the Expanded Core Curriculum Focus heavily on Self-Determination and Self-Advocacy during visual transitions Teach non-visual social skills and organizational strategies for high school Empower the student to manage their own assistive technology and "disability identity" Requirements
Strong background in VI education or Rehabilitation Counseling Deep knowledge of the ECC framework Engaging virtual presence—must be able to build rapport and "soft skills" through a screen Benefits
