Our client, a global software company serving enterprise customers across multiple industries, is seeking a Senior Revenue Manager to join a high-impact and highly visible revenue accounting organization. Location:
This position can be based in Concord or Mountain View, CA, and follows a hybrid schedule (2–3 days/week in the office with flexible hours). Job Description:
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex revenue challenges, partnering cross-functionally, and advising on deal structures in a forward-looking capacity. Oversee global revenue accounting operations, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant revenue recognition aligned with ASC 606. Review customer contracts and lead technical accounting assessments to determine appropriate revenue treatment. Manage the monthly and quarterly revenue close processes, including reporting and audit support. Partner with Sales, FP&A, Legal, and cross-functional teams on deal review, structuring guidance, and implications of new offerings. Lead, mentor, and develop team members while fostering a collaborative and positive work environment. Requirements
Strong knowledge of US GAAP and ASC 606 revenue recognition principles. 8+ years of progressive experience in revenue accounting within software/SaaS. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA strongly preferred. Demonstrated leadership skills, including people management and project ownership. Experience with ERP and CRM systems and the ability to communicate complex revenue concepts to senior leadership. Compensation
