DEPT® is a Growth Invention company that helps the world’s most ambitious brands grow faster. We operate at the intersection of technology and marketing, pioneering ideas, moving quickly, and delivering impact for clients and our team. You will find freedom to explore, space to collaborate, and the trust to make a real impact.
The Role
We’re looking for a talented and strategic
Art Director
to join a fast-paced, high-performing team dedicated to a visible and dynamic client. This hands-on role requires conceptual thinking, sharp design instincts, and video-first experience to translate strategy into engaging creative that performs.
You’ll partner with Copywriters and report to the Creative Director, collaborating to bring creative briefs to life across digital, social, and video channels. You’ll shape campaign direction, lead visual execution, and ensure design excellence from kickoff through delivery. You’ll influence quality and consistency while owning your workstream.

Deliver high-impact creative across digital, social, and video touchpoints with a focus on visual storytelling and performance.
Support video and content production, including pre-production planning, on-set shoots, and collaboration with editors and motion designers.
Partner across disciplines with copywriters, strategists, producers, project managers, and client teams to ensure alignment with brief goals, brand voice, and business objectives.
Own creative execution from end to end—delivering polished, on-brand assets on time and on brief.
Navigate ambiguity, adapt to shifting priorities, and bring proactive solutions to creative and production challenges.
Contribute to a collaborative team culture with curiosity, kindness, and accountability.
What You Bring
2–4 years of experience in Art Direction with a strong portfolio showing video-driven campaigns, social-first content, and strong visual design.
Agency experience with a track record on high-volume, high-visibility accounts.
On-set and content production experience (domestic or global), including work with video directors, editors, and producers.
Strong client presentation and communication skills; ability to present ideas, incorporate feedback, and advocate for great creative.
Excellent design sensibility and a strategic eye for layout, typography, motion, and branding.
Proactive, collaborative mindset; energized to brainstorm, support teammates with generosity and respect.
A creative portfolio showing design range across digital and video and the ability to turn strategy into scroll-stopping work.
You’ll Thrive If
You enjoy balancing creative concepting with tactical execution.
You have a passion for video and understanding of content production workflows.
You’re comfortable working directly with clients and stakeholders while taking direction from an ACD or CD.
You can juggle multiple projects with strong attention to detail and deadlines.
You value feedback, mentorship, and continuous improvement for yourself and others.
