The Cambria Hotel is located on beautiful North Ocean Blvd. We are looking for a hospitable and professional Hotel Concierge Ambassador to service our guests while providing the highest, most efficient levels of service. In this role, you will support our front office along with the food and beverage team. Our goal is for you to be able to create a guest experience above standards.

Responsibilities

Greet guests naturally upon entering the lobby with a sincere and welcoming smile.

Offer assistance when needed (for example, assist with luggage carts for guests with many bags).

Support front office and food & beverage teams as needed to ensure guest satisfaction.

Assist with room reservations, upsell restaurant reservations, and daily guest requests.

Learn the names and personally recognize Cambria Hotel regulars.

Anticipate guest needs before they are requested and provide proactive service.

Be knowledgeable about the hotel and its services, local area, events, attractions, and cultural events.

Prioritize job functions to best satisfy the guest and provide the highest quality service at all times.

Comply with Health, Safety and Sanitation guidelines.

Follow the dress code standards and wear nametags on duty.

Be flexible to perform other duties as deemed necessary by management.

Encourage guests to share feedback about their Cambria Hotel experience.

Knowledge, Training & Qualifications

High school diploma and/or equivalent; two years of hospitality experience preferred.

Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; detail-oriented and well-organized.

Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; knowledge of PowerPoint is a plus.

Ability to facilitate guest needs (reservations, daily requests, etc.).

Ability to learn and recognize Cambria Hotel regular guests.

Ability to anticipate guest needs and provide proactive service.

Knowledge of the hotel, its services, local area, events, and cultural activities.

Strong prioritization skills to satisfy guest needs.

PM shift attendance with preferred alcohol knowledge.

Trained to follow Health, Safety and Sanitation guidelines; ability to maintain clean work areas.

Restock and replenish products and supplies as needed during shifts.

Maintain an orderly lounge and ensure guest satisfaction.

Trained to follow all Emergency and Life Safety procedures and key control procedures.

Follow dress code standards; nametags required on duty.

Be flexible to perform all other duties deemed necessary by management.

Encourage guests to review their experience at Cambria Hotel and reflect the quality of service provided.

Physical Demands PHYSICAL DEMANDS SUMMARY

Lift/Carry, Twist/Turn, Climb: 11 – 20 lbs; 21 – 50 lbs; 51 – 100 lbs; 100+ lbs; Reach above shoulder; Reach outward; Push/Pull: stand, walk, sit; 13 – 25 lbs; 26 – 40 lbs; 41 – 100 lbs. Equipment and activities include use of a luggage cart and related hotel operations.
