Position Overview MedSrv is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented
Revenue Cycle Management Legal Associate
to join our expanding team. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving and reviewing critical information from a variety of sources, including attorneys, auto insurance carriers, hospitals, medical practices, courts, and record retrieval companies. What You’ll Do
Liability/Attorney Accounts -
Review and maintains follow up on accounts attorney represented, third party liability, PIP/Med Pay. Including negotiating settlements with attorneys/insurance reps and assuring billing and medical record requests are fulfilled.
Bankruptcy Accounts
- Verifies Bankruptcy information through the various websites and court systems. Close/document various systems according to established workflow. Requests Proof of Claims filed with the court when necessary. Maintain follow up on cases until Discharged/Dismissal.
Deceased Patient Team
- Verifies Date of Death and estate information through the various websites and court systems. Close/document various systems according to established workflow.
Admin Support Team
– Supports all teams in the NACS Collection and Legal department by completing correspondence requests. Create and complete Affidavits. Scanning correspondence and enclosures to related account. Completes monthly reports as assigned by management.
What We’re Looking For
High school diploma or equivalent
1+ year of related experience/training (or equivalent education and experience)
Knowledge of office software and medical billing software
Professional, polite, and customer-service oriented
Ability to work well with others in a close office setting
Strong focus and ability to concentrate for extended periods
Team-oriented, cooperative, and adaptable
Physical Requirements
Able to work at a computer for extended periods.
Occasionally lift up to 15 lbs.
