Responsibilities
Design and implement cloud architectures using Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
Lead migration of workloads from on-premises or other clouds to OCI
Architect high availability, disaster recovery, and fault-tolerant OCI solutions
Design OCI networking (VCNs, subnets, DRGs, load balancers, FastConnect)
Implement security best practices (IAM, compartments, policies, KMS, Vault)
Architect OCI compute, storage, and database services (Autonomous DB, Exadata Cloud Service)
Collaborate with DBAs, application teams, and security teams
Define OCI governance, landing zones, and best practices
Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform (OCI provider)
Monitor, optimize performance, availability, and cloud costs
Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
5+ years in IT infrastructure or cloud architecture
3+ years hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
Strong knowledge of:
OCI core services (Compute, Block/Object Storage)
OCI networking and connectivity
OCI IAM, compartments, policies
OCI security and compliance
Experience with Terraform and OCI Resource Manager
Experience with Linux and enterprise workloads
Understanding of DR, backup, and business continuity strategies
Excellent documentation and communication skills
Ability to obtain Oracle Cloud Infrastructure certifications (OCI Architect Professional)
Nice to Have
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure certifications (OCI Architect Professional)
Experience with Oracle databases (RAC, Data Guard, Autonomous Database)
Experience with hybrid connectivity (VPN, FastConnect)
Knowledge of enterprise compliance frameworks
Experience with Kubernetes (OKE) and containerized workloads
Experience migrating Oracle workloads from AWS/Azure to OCI
FinOps / cost optimization experience on OCIScripting (Python, Bash)
Experience with SaaS integrations (Oracle ERP, HCM, Fusion Apps)
