Bowman North Dakota
In partnership with the Sales Manager and General Manager, you will sell new and used agricultural and turf equipment to new and existing customers.
Supporting an organization that works on large diesel and hydraulic-based agricultural heavy equipment, your knowledge of heavy agriculture/turf and farming equipment will be valuable—and prior equipment sales experience is preferred. This role involves interacting with a wide variety of stakeholders including customers, technicians, suppliers and partners; strong communication skills are important when timelines are tight and deadlines are approaching.

The Nuts and Bolts of The Job To sell new and used agricultural and turf equipment to new and existing customers in North Dakota.
Represent the company for the sale of machinery to customers in a defined sales area.
Maintain current product knowledge on features and benefits of all equipment potentially saleable by the dealership.
Monitor competitive activity/products and communicate required information in a timely fashion to management as needed.
Maintain all customer information in assigned territory in a customer relationship management tool.
Know and follow a defined sales process.
Maintain assigned company vehicles and equipment.
Conduct new equipment demonstrations for field-based customers and/or at their location.
Monitor trends in customers’ business activities and timely communications to management.
Maintain current knowledge of financing options to assist customers with securing the purchase of new and used goods.
Attend applicable sales training events/seminars.
May maintain current knowledge of used equipment values and ability to evaluate properly for trading purposes.
Qualifications
1+ years’ equipment sales experience preferred
Knowledge of agricultural or turf equipment and farming or operational practices preferred.
Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions.
Ability to work flexible hours.
Ability to analyze and interpret basic sales reports.
High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
