MMC Group is hiring for a Sales Manager for our client in Richardson, TX! The client is a well established

B2B manufacturing and product distribution company

is hiring an experienced

Distribution Sales / Partnership Sales Manager

to lead and expand its distribution sales strategy and manufacturer partnerships. This role is

not a traditional regional territory sales position

and is

not focused on calling on builders or end customers . Instead, it is a strategic sales leadership role centered on

growing the distribution side of the business , developing partnerships with complementary manufacturers, and strengthening relationships across an established retailer network. The ideal candidate comes from a

distribution company or a manufacturer with a distribution arm

and understands how to

create value between manufacturers, distributors, and retailers . What You’ll Do: Lead and grow the company’s

distribution sales and manufacturer partnership strategy Identify, evaluate, and onboard

new manufacturer partners

whose products align with existing retail channels Sell and position the company’s

distribution capabilities

to potential OEM and manufacturing partners Manage and expand relationships with

existing distribution and retail partners Act as the bridge between

manufacturers and retailers , ensuring alignment across product, pricing, and delivery Collaborate with internal leadership on distribution growth strategy, pricing models, and go-to-market plans Support expansion of the company’s distribution footprint beyond its own product line Monitor performance of distribution partnerships and recommend improvements or new opportunities Work closely with executive leadership in a highly visible, growth-focused role What We’re Looking For: 8–10+ years of sales experience within manufacturing, and 5+ in

distribution: sales, partnership sales, or sales leadership Background with a

distribution company

or

manufacturer that also distributes products Experience selling through or supporting

retailers, dealers, or showrooms Strong understanding of

OEM, manufacturer, distributor, and retailer dynamics Proven ability to develop and grow

strategic partnerships Industry experience within

appliances, ventilation, building products, or adjacent manufacturing sectors

strongly preferred Strategic, relationship-driven sales mindset with the ability to operate independently
