
Overview
Sentara Park in Virginia Beach is looking to hire a Remote Proposal Writer. This is a remote position. Remote opportunities available in the following states: Virginia, North Carolina, Alabama, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Minnesota, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Washington (state), West Virginia, Wisconsin, Wyoming. This individual will be responsible for developing quality, compelling proposals in collaboration with Sales team members and subject matter experts throughout the organization. The candidate will focus on understanding and representing the health plan, including the company’s mission and vision, community presence, core products and services, and continuous advancements.
Responsibilities
High-quality writing, editing, proofreading, and SME relationship development (subject matter expertise, outreach, and engagement).
Use and management of content library and proposal tools (including Qvidian) during RFP processes, at submission, and post-submission, and according to FOIA analysis.
Managing proposal templates and sample materials and supporting proposal production.
Collaborate with Sales team members and subject matter experts to develop proposals.
Maintain consistency with the health plan representation in proposals, including the company’s mission, vision, and core offerings.
Work under strict deadlines with a detail-oriented, resourceful, and collaborative approach.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
2 years of marketing and public relations experience required
Strong writing and editing skills
Education Bachelor’s degree is required for this role.

Compensation and Benefits We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay rate for Full Time employment is: $53,248 – $88,753.6. Additional compensation may be available for this role such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
