This opportunity is ideal for experienced window and door sales professionals or composite decking sales professionals looking to expand their earning potential within a proven sales system.
You will work exclusively with pre-qualified homeowners who have requested information about our products – no cold calling required . With industry-leading training, proven sales systems, and strong operational support, C&L Ward provides the tools needed to build a rewarding, long-term sales career.
Position Overview
As an In-Home Consultant, you will represent either our window and door division or our composite decking division, delivering professional in-home consultations, product training, and project pricing to clients. Each role focuses on a single product category, allowing you to specialize, build expertise, and deliver an exceptional client experience. Responsibilities
Conduct in-home consultations with homeowners and decision-makers Deliver interactive, consultative sales presentations for a specific product line Educate customers on product features, options, and design considerations Take accurate measurements to ensure proper project scope and pricing Prepare and present professional proposals Maintain consistent follow-up with prospective clients Partner with internal teams to ensure a smooth transition from sale to production Participate in ongoing sales training, coaching, and team development Qualifications
Prior experience in window and door sales or composite decking sales Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills Confident, professional in-home presence Self-motivated with strong time-management skills Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment Naturally outgoing and comfortable building rapport with homeowners Deck sales and/or deck construction experienced required for decking consultants Must be coachable and open to ongoing training Valid driver's license required Compensation & Benefits
Earning potential First year consultants earn $80k - $120k with increased pay potential as more experience is gained Uncapped commission with performance-based bonuses Benefits include Company vehicle and gas card Medical, dental, vision and life insurance 401(k) with company match Paid training Profit sharing Laptop, mobile printer and proprietary software Schedule & Location
