Director, Finance Business Partner
to join our growing company! This role will be a key financial leader, driving strategic insights and supporting operational excellence.
The Director, Finance Business Partner is a senior finance leader responsible for owning financial performance, unit economics, and decision support across key business functions, including Operations, Sales, Supply Chain, and IT.
This role partners closely with senior functional leaders to translate business activity into financial insight, accountability, and improved decision-making. The position is designed for a hands-on finance leader who operates as a trusted thought partner — driving margin improvement, productivity, and scalable growth across the enterprise.
Compensation:
Competitive Salary Pay - Paid weekly, every Friday! Salary $175,000-195,000 plus additional annual bonus incentive
Location : Charlotte, NC
Travel : 15%-20%

Essential Duties & Responsibilities Strategic Business Partnership & Decision Support
Serve as a primary finance partner to senior leaders across Operations, Sales, Supply Chain, IT, and other key functions
Develop a deep understanding of functional objectives, constraints, and initiatives and translate them into financial plans and insights
Provide proactive decision support related to pricing, labor, productivity, utilization, margin improvement, and investment prioritization
Support ROI, scenario, and investment analysis for growth initiatives, capex, technology investments, and process improvements
Partner with business leaders to evaluate tradeoffs between cost, service levels, growth, and scalability
Financial Planning, Performance Management & Economics
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and reforecasting processes for supported business functions
Develop and manage KPIs, dashboards, and performance review materials used by senior leadership
Drive variance analysis and root-cause diagnostics with clear, actionable recommendations
Own and continuously improve unit economics, cost-to-serve analysis, and margin drivers across supported areas
Systems, Processes & Cross-Functional Collaboration
Own financial models, planning tools, and reporting outputs supporting business partners
Partner with BI, Systems, and IT teams to improve automation, data quality, and insight delivery
Continuously enhance finance processes to support scaling, efficiency, and operational excellence
Drive strong collaboration across FP&A, Accounting, Operations, Sales, Supply Chain, and IT
Key Competencies and Minimum Education
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field (MBA preferred)
8–10+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, Finance Business Partnering, or Commercial Finance
Experience supporting multiple business functions in a complex, growth-oriented environment
People leadership experience strongly preferred
Skills & Capabilities:
Strong financial acumen with deep understanding of operational drivers and unit economics
Advanced Excel modeling and analytical skills; experience with planning systems
Ability to synthesize complex data into clear executive-level insights
Strong communicator with credibility at senior leadership levels
Bias toward action, ownership, and continuous improvement
