Job Description Summary: Organizes the overall strategic planning and fiscal management of for the Cardiovascular Service Line. Coordinates operations for Cardiovascular services across the system working within a dyad leadership model to manage the continuum of care for clinical services and care delivery. Provides guidance to other executives to support strategies unique to Cardiovascular patient care needs. Ensures alignment of hospital-based inpatient and outpatient care, medical practice services, and community/regional population management to create a cohesive Service Line. Drives performance improvement and performance management initiatives for and responsible for facilitation of various Cardiology accreditations and quality programs related to registries. Collaborates with the Executive leaders to drive success of the Service Line inclusive of managing joint operating agreements, physician contracting and market development as applicable under the direction of the senior leadership of CVMC/CVMG
