Account Executive, Brokerage — CJ Logistics is seeking a highly motivated Account Executive to lead the profitable acquisition and management of customers within our Freight Brokerage business. This role is essential for a strategic hunter who can identify new opportunities, build lasting client relationships, and ensure exceptional service delivery. Your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. We anticipate this role to pay a minimum base salary of $69,000, but actual base pay will depend on the successful candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Participation in an Account Executive bonus plan is included as part of your total compensation. Drive Growth: Lead new customer acquisition efforts, targeting both new prospects and lapsed customers to expand our market reach. Manage the Lifecycle: Oversee deals from the initial partner contact through contract signing, operational launch, and long-term growth. Collaborate for Success: Partner with Support, Execution, and Operations teams to ensure customer needs are met efficiently and effectively. Achieve Excellence: Consistently meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets while maintaining account receivable requirements. Act as an Ambassador: Refer non-Freight Brokerage leads to peer Customer Development contacts and work respectfully with all Brokerage team members. What You’ll Bring
Professional Experience: 4+ years of experience in transportation sales, specifically focused on new customer acquisition. Educational Background: A Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field is preferred. Sales Prowess: A proven ability to bring in new customers and meet or exceed financial expectations and sales metrics. Core Competencies: Strong negotiation skills, persuasiveness, and the confidence to navigate complex sales cycles.
