Job Summary

BaRupOn operates a fully licensed pharmacy with prescription fulfillment and compounding capabilities. We are seeking a sales-oriented Business Development Representative to proactively reach out to hospitals, clinics, physician practices, and healthcare providers to introduce our pharmacy services and establish new professional relationships.

This role is ideal for someone who already has , or is actively building professional connections within the healthcare space and can leverage those relationships to open doors and establish new partnerships. This role is highly outreach-driven and focuses on initiating conversations, identifying partnership opportunities, and serving as a key point of contact between healthcare providers and our internal pharmacy team. You will serve as the primary point of contact between prospective healthcare partners and our internal pharmacy team, helping introduce our services, coordinate conversations, and lay the foundation for long-term partnerships. This role is best suited for someone who thrives in autonomous environments, takes initiative, and is motivated by building something from the ground up. The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter who is comfortable with outbound communication, networking, and follow-up. Someone who is comfortable starting with a blank slate, identifying prospects, initiating first contact, and developing professional relationships without relying on an existing book of business. You will own the full outreach process, including prospect research, cold outreach via email, phone, LinkedIn, and in-person networking, as well as ongoing follow-up and relationship management. This position plays a critical role in expanding awareness of BaRupOn’s pharmacy capabilities and supporting the continued growth of pharmacy operations. Key Responsibilities

Proactively build and manage relationships with hospitals, clinics, physician groups, and healthcare providers Conduct outbound and inbound sales outreach via email, phone, LinkedIn, and in-person networking or trade events Identify, qualify, and convert new referral opportunities into active prescription volume Deliver product presentations, attend regional trade shows, and support procurement processes Meet or exceed sales targets and reporting metrics Maintain CRM records, pricing strategies, and customer follow-ups Collaborate with regulatory, production, and logistics teams to ensure timely fulfillment and compliance Research healthcare organizations, provider networks, and referral opportunities within target markets Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, or related field preferred 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare product sales Familiarity with hospital systems, GPOs, independent pharmacies, or public health agencies Proven ability to meet sales goals and manage high-volume accounts Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills Proficiency with CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) Preferred Skills

Experience selling sterile compounds, injectives, or specialty pharmaceuticals Knowledge of 503A/503B outsourcing, DSCSA compliance, and regulatory frameworks Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus Existing network of pharmacy, hospital, or healthcare contacts in California or western U.S. Benefits
