Licensed Commercial Lines Account Manager Seeking a highly skilled and experienced
Licensed Commercial Lines Account Manager
to join a team. This role involves managing a book of middle-market accounts, with a focus on non-profit organizations, religious institutions, and similar entities. The ideal candidate will be a dedicated professional with a strong background in commercial property and casualty insurance, capable of delivering exceptional service to clients while maintaining a high level of accuracy and efficiency. This is a hybrid position, offering a balance of in-office and remote work. Compensation
Salary: Competitive compensation in the range of $80,000–$85,000+ annually (depending on experience) Competitive benefits package, 401(k), paid time off, professional development opportunities, etc. Responsibilities
Manage and retain an existing book of business, ensuring client satisfaction and account growth. Review and process policy renewals, new policies, and policy changes with accuracy and efficiency. Conduct thorough reviews of commercial insurance policies to ensure accuracy, resolve coverage discrepancies, and communicate changes to carriers. Address and resolve coverage questions and other client inquiries. Collaborate with carriers and internal/external customers to deliver exceptional customer service and ensure adherence to policies and procedures. Oversee the renewal submission process, including preparing applications, exhibits, narratives, loss runs, and responses to underwriting questions. Submit applications to appropriate carriers and follow up to ensure timely receipt of quotations and policies. Perform additional duties as required or assigned. Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent industry-related experience. Valid Property and Casualty license. Minimum of two (2) years of experience in commercial multi-line property and casualty insurance. Insurance designation is preferred. Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment while maintaining a commitment to growth and quality customer service. Strong organizational, analytical, and customer service skills. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks, delegate responsibilities, and work independently with minimal supervision. Proficiency in PC applications, including Microsoft Office (Word and Excel). Familiarity with AMS360 or similar systems is a plus.
