Overview Become a part of ENERCON as a Designer/Drafter. Our Designers/Drafters are an integral part of our design team. They are the visionaries who bring engineering ideas to life, crafting detailed plans that drive the successful execution of infrastructure and energy projects. These site positions can sit out of the following locations:

Tonopah, AZ

Oak Harbor, OH

Cleveland, OH

Responsibilities Drafters & Designers play a key role in supporting engineering teams by creating detailed technical drawings and layouts used for infrastructure and energy projects. A typical day in this role involves working closely with engineers and translating design concepts and project specifications into precise, scaled drawings that help guide the construction and implementation process.

Qualifications This position covers a range of internal levels. Minimum qualifications for the position are shown below:

Associate’s Degree with an emphasis in drafting & design or related field

Proficient experience with MicroStation design software

Ability to learn and effectively utilize new design software programs as required

Minimum of 2 years of experience in drafting with MicroStation

3-4 years of drafting & design experience is preferred

Ability to utilize both 2D and 3D applications to prepare engineering drawings

Understand and follow all organizational, area/departmental, and client procedures, safety policies, and directives

Experience conducting self-checks of created drawings, sketches, and related data to proactively identify factors that may negatively affect final product

Ability to work independently of engineers but confer with engineers and other designers for design concept interpretation

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work collaboratively with others (Engineers, Designers, Project Managers) in a multi-disciplined project team environment to resolve design and drawing issues as appropriate and to accomplish objectives

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Experience working in the Nuclear, Utilities, or Power Industry is a plus

Pay Range USD $45,000.00 - USD $100,000.00 /Yr.

When salary range is listed it reflects typical compensation for this role based on level and location. Actual pay depends on experience, skills, and education.
