About the Role
The Executive Director ABL/Private Credit Securitization Credit Risk will be responsible for leading credit risk oversight across asset-based lending and private credit securitization activities, including reviewing new transactions, evaluating collateral and structural protections, and assessing borrower and portfolio-level credit performance. This role will provide independent risk input throughout the deal lifecycle, partner with origination and structuring teams to identify key risks and mitigants, and ensure credit approvals are supported by clear analysis and well-documented recommendations. The position will also oversee ongoing monitoring and reporting, including covenant compliance, concentration and exposure management, stress testing, and early warning indicators, while supporting risk governance processes and communicating key findings to senior stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in credit risk, structured finance, or private credit, with strong expertise in asset-based lending and securitization structures. Candidates must demonstrate advanced analytical skills, including credit underwriting, collateral analysis, cash flow or structural assessment, and the ability to evaluate complex credit risks across a range of asset types. Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills are essential, including experience partnering with front-office teams while maintaining independent risk judgment and influencing senior decision-makers. The successful candidate will be highly detail-oriented, commercially aware, and able to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and time-sensitive decision points.
