As the Activity Aid at CRI you will receive:

Hourly rate of $16.00 an hour

The schedule for this position will be: Monday 8:45am - 12:15pm (beginning March 2nd)

Tuesday: 8:45am - 12:15pm

Thursday: 8:45am - 3:15pm

Fridays 9:45am - 1:15pm

Who is CRI? CRI, Inc. is a local organization dedicated to helping individuals build employment skills and greater independence. We support people who may face barriers, often related to disabilities, by empowering them to achieve their highest level of community involvement.

What does an Activity Aid do? As an Activity Aid in our day services program, you’ll help participants reach personal goals through hands‑on activities and community engagement. You will:

Lead daily activities for groups of 6-10 individuals (facility‑based day services)

Guide small groups of 3-4 on community outings (community based day services)

Support learning, creativity, social interaction, and independence in our facility

Lead Activities including:

Preparing healthy snacks, gardening, and nutrition lessons

Creative arts: music, dance, craft projects, art, and photography

Physical and recreational activities such as yoga, fitness, basketball, or bowling

Educational outings to museums, historical sites, fire stations, and government buildings

Teaching skills for accessing community resources—libraries, public transit, parks, and more

Qualifications:

High School Diploma, equivalent or teacher recommendation.

Access to reliable transportation and clean driving record.

Successful completion of a Department of Justice background check.

Must have a cell phone/the ability to communicate while at the various sites in the community.
