ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION Based in Northern Cincinnati, Hi‑Tek Manufacturing is family‑owned and has been in business for 45 years, operating a state‑of‑the‑art 200,000 sq. ft. facility. Because of their focus on customer service and quality standards, they have grown to provide a full scope of manufacturing services for the gas turbine and aerospace industries. Hi‑Tek sets the industry standard by providing highly engineered, complex components and assemblies for aircraft engines, airframes, and land‑based industrial gas turbines.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING The Technical Sales & Customer Service Manager serves as the transparent face of Hi‑Tek, embodying the company’s values and integrity in all customer interactions. Reporting to the ownership of the company, this role bridges internal teams and customers, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration to drive Hi‑Tek’s profitable and ethical growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing, particularly in the aviation and gas turbine industries, with a focus on quality, customer relations, and sales support.

Customer Relations:

Serve as a point of contact for all customers, representing Hi‑Tek’s values and commitment to integrity.

Communicate daily with customers’ sourcing and technical teams to ensure a free flow of information.

Compile forecast from various customers and clients

Provide shop floor tours for customers, highlighting Hi‑Tek’s capabilities and showcasing ongoing projects.

Internal Collaboration:

Collaborate closely with internal teams (management, engineering, estimating, production) to facilitate transparent information exchange.

Assist engineering teams in developing and communicating schedules for New Product Introduction (NPI) programs to customers.

Provide accurate and timely communication with ownership regarding customer and client activities related to current contracts and new/development projects.

Sales and Marketing:

Work s regularly with website developers to ensure the company website is always up to date with accurate and appropriate product information.

Create and update sales forecasts and understand the overall business impact.

Prepare and present sales information and customer feedback to all levels of staff.

Generate customer quotations based on input from the estimating team.

Provide overall attention to cost impact on the company as related to quote negotiations.

Contract and Quality Oversight:

Review and analyze customer contract terms and conditions to ensure fairness and protect Hi‑Tek’s financial health.

Understand and apply quality system requirements specific to the aviation industry.

Ability to assess the impact on the overall business when entering negotiation discussions with customers and clients.

Administrative and Technical Tasks:

Utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) to create reports, presentations, and documentation.

Distribute electronic files and critical information to relevant stakeholders promptly.

Leverage knowledge of Epicor MRP systems and CAD/CAM tools (preferred) for operational efficiency.

IDEAL CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Degree in Engineering or related fields (preferred).

Prior experience in a similar position within the manufacturing industry.

Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (both conventional and those used on superalloy materials) at both job shop and production levels.

Experience with manufacturing requirements for gas turbines in aviation and commercial sectors preferred.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Knowledge of Epicor MRP systems and CAD/CAM software is a plus.

Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication skills, capable of presenting complex technical information to various stakeholders.
