Overview
Figma is building a next‑generation platform that blends AI capabilities with human creativity. As a Community Manager, you will energize our artist community—managing daily Discord presence, planning events, supporting partnerships, and feeding community feedback into product and marketing teams. Responsibilities
Operate day‑to‑day Discord community: moderation, channel updates, events, and feedback loops. Plan and host community activities such as challenges, workshops, live sessions, and co‑branded events aligned with Collective and education programs. Identify and coordinate collaborations with schools, creative artists, and studios; support co‑branded sessions. Maintain resource libraries, onboarding materials, and event follow‑ups to help members maximize the platform. Build close relationships with community artists—support spotlight content, track participation, and celebrate community work. Capture community insights and share them with product and marketing teams to inform roadmap and communications. Qualifications
3+ years of experience building and scaling engaged online communities in creative tech, design tools, or GenAI spaces. Hands‑on expertise with Discord or similar platforms, including channel structuring, moderation, and fostering authentic culture. Excellent communicator in English—able to write clearly, host conversations, and confidently represent our tone. People‑first, collaborative, and able to partner effectively with marketing, product, and creative teams. Proactive and organized builder who thrives in fast‑paced environments, managing multiple projects and executing from concept to launch. Location
