Position Overview

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Associate Designer to support the design and development of Men’s and Boys’ denim and non-denim woven bottoms. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience designing bottoms with a strong understanding of denim washes, woven fabrications, and bottom-specific construction.

Key Responsibilities

Research seasonal trends, fabrics, washes, and silhouettes relevant to Men’s and Boys’ denim and woven bottoms.

Support seasonal assortment and line planning aligned with brand vision, customer needs, and retailer requirements.

Create and present inspiration boards, fabric direction, and wash concepts.

Develop detailed CADs, technical sketches, and presentation materials for denim and woven bottoms.

Collaborate on fabric, trim, branding, and wash development.

Clearly detail wash processes, finishes, and construction callouts for vendor execution.

Maintain accurate style sheets, fabric/wash libraries, and line plans.

Track development samples, fit samples, wash submissions, and fabric developments from concept through final approval.

Review lab dips, strike-offs, wash tests, and garment samples for accuracy, quality, and brand alignment.

Partner with overseas vendors to resolve development issues and ensure on-time delivery.

Partner closely with Design, Technical Design, Production, and Merchandising to ensure fit, cost, and execution meet expectations.

Communicate with overseas vendors to manage approvals, timelines, and sample revisions.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or related field.

3–5 years of apparel design experience, with a strong focus on denim and/or non-denim woven bottoms.

Experience designing for Men’s and/or Boys’ categories

Strong understanding of denim washes, woven fabrications, and bottom construction.

Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and PLM systems.
