
Corporate Sales - Sales Support

Position Overview
The Sales Support role serves as the liaison for communicating projects from the sales team to the product division. Responsible for the development of project timelines and tracking to ensure targets are reached. Responsible for fielding customer inquiries, approval of new corporate customer applications, management of inbound leads, adherence to brand strategy, management of custom portal, etc. Sales Support will successfully juggle multiple projects simultaneously, and handle a fast‑paced work environment, deadlines, new challenges and changing priorities. Reporting into the SVP, Corporate Sales & Partnerships, the ideal candidate needs to be driven and strategic and have a strong ability to work cross‑functionally in an entrepreneurial and hands‑on environment.
Essential Job Functions
Respond quickly and efficiently to all incoming customer inquiries
Work cross‑functionally with Lifetime divisions
Assist sales team with daily administrative tasks and communication for orders
Help with business development through a combination of email outreach, market research, cold calling, trade show presence and prospect mailings.
Maintain customer database and secure repeat business with existing customers
Assist in sales presentations and marketing tools
Ad Hoc duties as assigned by Manager/Accounts: Manages daily activities of the operational sales function. Oversees workflow of all business processing including preparation of reports, charts and other statistics to support and direct the sales department. Initiates and tracks order to completion. Handles and helps to resolve more complex customer service requests or issues. Develop and implement promotional events and interact with customers to increase sales volume.
Administration
Liaison for communicating projects from the sales team to the product divisions within Lifetime Brands.
Act as liaison with the warehouses to analyze and service accounts
Supports monthly budget by monitoring open orders to availability of inventory.
Initiate and coordinate account special projects
Travel
Travel as deemed necessary: major presentation support, trade shows, significant program launches.
Requirements
Experience: 2 – 5 years in the field or in a related area
Specialized Knowledge, Licenses, etc.: Intermediate to advanced skill set with Excel and MS Office products. Experience with Access and/or SAP a plus. Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment. Understanding of the retail marketplace.
Working Conditions: General office environment
Other Skills/Abilities: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to structure deals and develop strong client relationships. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to use advanced judgment in problem solving.
