The Partnerships & Donor Relations Manager is responsible for developing revenue streams to support the operations of Rescue Ranch, as well as planning, implementing, and managing comprehensive and successful annual fundraising efforts. This position requires a highly effective, self-motivated individual with in-depth knowledge of major giving acquisitions, campaigns, grant writing, and annual fundraising strategies. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Build an effective development process to meet the annual objectives of the organization. Prepare written annual fundraising plans, based on fiscal year goals, that includes projection and strategies for achieving the goal of each funding stream to be approved by the Executive Director. Work with Events and Community Relations Manager to develop, implement, and manage all aspects of the Ranch’s development plan approved annually by the Executive Director. Successfully meet and/or exceed annual financial goals, develop, and generate activity reports outlining progress towards annual fundraising goals. Plan, execute and evaluate various campaigns including Capital, Year End, and Giving Tuesday Campaigns. Develop and generate strategies for sustainable revenue generation; successfully meet/exceed budget benchmarks. Develop and implement a legacy program, to include bequests, trusts, and pet guardianship programs. Develop and maintain a business buddy program to support the initiatives and objectives of the ranch. Develop and manage a departmental budget. Manage the grant writing process; research new grant opportunities, and submit grant proposals that align with current program and budgetary needs. Submit required reporting per grant guidelines. Develop, and manage direct mail campaigns. Promote and support Board involvement in development activities and engage the Board in strategic prospect identification and solicitation. Develop and maintain the donor/prospect database to include providing designated reports and analysis to the Executive Director and the Board. Cultivate and manage the donor relations process. Create fundraising and campaign marketing collateral in collaboration with the Ranch marketing efforts. Provide relevant social media and website content to support development activities in collaboration with the social media coordinators. In collaboration with the leadership team, represent the Ranch at community meetings and media events. Support the Events and Community Relations Manager with activities and events. Support the Events and Community Relations Manager with identifying business prospects for sponsorships and other partnerships for events. Perform other duties as assigned and reasonably within the scope of duties enumerated above. Qualifications:

Education & Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Nonprofit Management, Marketing, Communications, or related field Preferred experience in working for a non-profit Minimum of 5 years development experience, including capital campaigns, annual giving, grant-writing, and fundraising. Other Skills, Abilities, & Qualifications: Proven track record in securing individual, corporate, and foundation gifts Organized quick thinker with mature judgment and superior building skills Demonstrated knowledge and successful implementation of major giving acquisition programs, knowledge of and experience with planned giving, a plus Team environment mindset Hands-on” work mentality with the ability to complete projects under minimal supervision Superior attention to detail and the ability to multitask Familiarity with fundraising databases preferred (Network for Good/OneCause software preferred) Understanding of the unique needs and resources of nonprofits Excellent skills using MS Office, Google Suite, CRM software, and more
