Job Summary Join Spectrum Brands (NYSE: SPB), a multi-billion dollar global Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) powerhouse with a portfolio of powerful, globally recognized brands. We are currently seeking an Associate National Account Manager - Amazon.
The Associate National Account Manager, Amazon.com supports the growth and day‑to‑day management of our Amazon business within the ecommerce team. This role is ideal for a highly organized, analytical, and motivated professional who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and is eager to build deep expertise in ecommerce and Amazon account management. You will partner closely with senior leaders to translate consumer insights, digital marketing strategies, and operational priorities into execution that strengthens brand performance.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities Strategic (40%)
Support development of annual sales, profit, and operational plans for the Amazon account.
Assist in executing ecommerce strategy across the six pillars: Selection, Price, Content, Search, Inventory, and Marketing.
Contribute insights from performance trends, competitive activity, and consumer behavior.
Participate in cross‑functional meetings to ensure alignment between internal teams and Amazon.
Support “Think Big” customer‑centric opportunities by preparing analyses and recommendations.
Tactical Execution (50%)
Maintain the foundational elements of a healthy ecommerce business, including item setup, content health, pricing hygiene, and promotional support.
Monitor in‑stock, fill rate, and other reliability metrics; partner with teams to resolve issues quickly.
Track and report business performance through weekly, monthly, and quarterly updates.
Identify and flag selection gaps, content updates, and product or assortment opportunities.
Coordinate with supply chain, marketing, finance, and product teams to ensure seamless execution.
Assist with preparation for customer meetings, line reviews, and internal presentations.
Manage day‑to‑day tasks that support account health, operational accuracy, and Amazon compliance.
Team & Organizational Support (10%)
Share insights, templates, and learnings to support process consistency and scalability.
Contribute to a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
Education and Experience Profile
Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Economics, Finance, or related field required
5 or more years of experience in Account Management, Vendor Management, E-commerce, Retail Planning/Buying, Marketing, or similar functions required
Experience supporting Amazon.com or another major ecommerce retailer strongly preferred
Familiarity with digital marketing, search optimization, or content health metrics preferred
Experience in CPG, ecommerce, marketplace management, or consulting preferred
