NEW VISION COMMUNITY OUTREACH ASSOC IATION FXBG is hiring: Volunteer Grant Write

New Vision Community Outreach Association (NVCOA) is seeking a volunteer Grant Writer to help advance our mission to reduce food insecurity and strengthen community wellbeing through financial literacy and mental health wellness.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and research grant opportunities aligned with NVCOA programs
• Draft, edit, and submit grant proposals, letters of inquiry, and attachments
• Coordinate with NVCOA leadership to gather program narratives, budgets, and outcomes
• Maintain a simple grants tracker (deadlines, submissions, awards, reporting dates)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in grant writing, nonprofit development, or persuasive writing
• Strong writing, editing, and organizational skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and communicate clearly
• Ability to recruit a fundraising team
• Familiarity with Google Docs/Drive or Microsoft Word/Excel

Time Commitment

• Flexible: approximately 3–6 hours per week (more during deadlines)
