About the Role
We are in search of a dynamic Director of Business Development focused on Media & Entertainment and Audio Development Services. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to make a significant impact in driving our strategic growth, particularly in creating original audio assets for games and audio post services for linear content. In this pivotal role, you will manage a skilled team of Business Development Managers while overseeing your own client portfolio.
As the Director, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Leading and mentoring the Business Development team, recruiting top talent, and ensuring the team exceeds sales targets.
- Fostering strong relationships and engaging in networking opportunities to fuel new business generation.
- Collaborating closely with our Managing Director, heads of studios, and Client Partners to align strategies and objectives.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A proven track record of generating new business sales and managing a high-performing team.
- At least 10 years of experience in sales within the media, entertainment, and video games sectors.
- A degree in a related field and comprehensive knowledge of market trends and customer drivers.
- Outstanding interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to thrive in a matrix management environment.
- A self-motivated attitude, exceptional communication skills, and a readiness to travel as needed.
