Outside Shipper/Pipe Bundler

divh2Outside Shipper/Pipe Bundler/h2pThe purpose of the Outside Shipper/Receiver/Parts Bundler position is to verify the correctness of incoming shipments; to insure distribution of received materials to the appropriate department; and to gather, prepare, stage, and load finished goods for deliveries onto outbound trailers. Will also identify and bundle irrigation pipe and will stage, box and load international shipments./ppResponsibilities include:/pulliDetermining accuracy and condition of inbound deliveries and outbound customer shipments./liliReconciling materials received to purchase orders within the computer system./liliAccurately identifying, counting, transferring, and placing component part inventories at designated locations./liliDemonstrating a positive company image to outside entities as may be required to interact with transportation and freight companies./liliUsing hand and power tools correctly if required./liliRunning a forklift and securing a forklift license if required./liliBeing familiar and cognizant of safety guidelines throughout the company./liliMaintaining a good attendance and punctuality record./liliReading and interpreting load lists, packing lists, bill of lading, and shipping paperwork./liliUsing and understanding various specialized measuring tools and equipment unique to the job./liliHaving good communication and interpersonal skills, as they may interact with other departments, and management of the company, and the general public./liliWorking with limited supervision and showing initiative, tact, good judgement, and sound reasoning./liliHandling the physical requirements of the position./liliHaving neat and legible handwriting./liliLearning and using the companys computer system to identify company and customers trailers./liliPerforming other related duties as directed by supervision./li/ul/div
