We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic and imaginative part-time Marketing Content Intern to join our dynamic marketing team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys capturing captivating photos and videos, loves connecting with new people, and thrives in a mix of remote and on-the-road work.

Your contributions will play a vital role in boosting our brand visibility, creating engaging content that showcases the importance of our products and services for first responders. Additionally, your storytelling will help attract top talent by highlighting our workplace culture and the dedicated individuals behind our mission.

As our Marketing Content Intern, your responsibilities will include:

  • Producing engaging visual content: Capture and create videos, photos, and graphics for social media and our website.
  • Content writing: Proofread and write copy for social media posts.
  • Collaboration: Work alongside the Marketing team and subject matter experts to explore content ideas and showcase features/services.
  • Project Management: Handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Visual storytelling: Create captivating visuals that reflect our technicians, service work, equipment, customers, and workplace culture.
  • Content planning: Assist in organizing media assets and storyboarding content ideas.
  • Marketing support: Contribute to various marketing initiatives, including social media posts, email campaigns, event support, and digital content projects.
  • Professional representation: Visit service centers and engage with employees and customers in a professional manner.
  • Travel: Participate in regional travel for industry events, demonstrations, and visits to various office locations.
  • Overnight travel may be required for multi-day events or shows.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are essential.
  • Mileage reimbursement will be provided in accordance with company policy.

To be considered for this position, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
  • Experience using design tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Basic video editing skills.
  • A creative mindset with a talent for generating engaging content ideas.
  • Strong communication and time management abilities.
  • A flexible schedule compatible with academic commitments.
  • Ideal start date: Before summer, preferably earlier.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and proactively schedule visit days.
  • Must reside within the geographic area where the role is advertised (the position is primarily remote but requires frequent local travel).
