Little Rock District Court, Criminal Division Clerk Job Description

To prepare and maintain the court docket by compiling information, organizing files and reviewing and verifying information for the Little Rock District Court, Criminal Division; to answer questions and provide information regarding Little Rock District Court, Criminal Division policies, procedures, and operational functions. This position is not designated as a safety/security sensitive position and is not subject to random drug and alcohol screening. Essential Functions

These knowledge, skills, and abilities are usually, although not always, acquired through the completion of high school or a vocational technical school, and two (2) years of clerical-administrative experience or related area; and one (1) year of experience in computer use. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered. Additional Requirement: Must possess certification as a Court Clerk within three (3) years of employment and maintain certification for the duration of employment in this position. Must possess Arkansas Crime Information Center (ACIC)/National Crime Information Center (NCIC) certification within six (6) months of employment and maintain certification for the duration of employment in this position.
