Job DescriptionTo conceive visual design solutions to complex product initiatives through composition, typography and interaction models, keep deliverables engaging and on-brand, and drive cross channel projects. Works on moderately complex projects with minimal risk. Participates in the creation and evolution of visual experience design strategy. Works independently with direct guidance and direction from higher level staff and management.
Responsibilities
Develop and recommend comprehensive visual design solutions - Participates inOptimize the user experience through creating visual on-brand compositions that drive improved experiences-Moderate LatitudeInfluence team members and business partners, explaining the impact of designing/developing with the end userin mind- Moderate LatitudeCollaborate with project teams to define the visual identity - Assist in LeadingAssist in defining user experience goals through visual engagement- Participates inDesign and implement user-centered deliverables - Participate inDocument project specification requirements for developers - Moderately Complex/VariedOperate within the right Design Thinking methodology based on the product, channel, audience, and theapplication requirements or workflow- Moderate ImpactCreate and apply visual design styles and best practices, such as composition, color theory, accessibility andtypography, and guides the team in their use through style guide creation- Moderately Complex/VariedCreate prototypes for testing to ensure design meets business and user objectives- Moderately Complex/VariedAct as subject matter expert for design inspirationRecommend user experience improvement opportunities - Moderate LatitudeEnsure design solutions remain engaging to the customer - Considerable ImpactMaintain and monitor solution effectivenessAct as stakeholder in development, testing and implementation of UX design projects- Participates inAssist with managing multiple projects under tight deadlines across a broad variety of product categories andaudiences- Participates inProactively draw out user experience or design issues and successfully address those issues to ensure projectsstay on track to meet interim project milestones, project time/scope/quality/funding expectations - ModerateImpactPerform as a project team member, owning UX deliverables throughout Development Lifecycle for multipleprojects within various phases - Assist in LeadingEnsure that the IT deliverables meet design expectations- Assist in LeadingRemain abreast of emerging technologies, and industry best practices and trends* Local candidates able to work Hybrid only.* No 3rd Party Recruiters please.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, User-Centered Design/Human-Computer Interaction, or the equivalentcombination of education, training, and experienceFamiliarity with UX design principles and ability to apply themFamiliarity with design fundamentals, such as color theory, typography and compositionKnowledge of interaction design, visual design, and industry standardsKnowledge of user centered design processes and best practicesKnowledge of modern development standards, techniques and methodologies (e.g., HTML, XHTML, AJAX,JavaScript, CSS, etc.)Effective detail and organizational skillsAbility to learn and apply new technologies to usability and design challengesAdvanced verbal and written communication skillsExposure to managing multiple priorities independently and/or in a team environment to achieve goalsExposure to performing analysis of business processes and functionsFamiliarity with project management to include establishing and leading project teams; managingtimelines/deadlines/resources; ensuring successful project implementationBenefits
