Summary
The role of Regional Sales Manager within Nobeltec is to develop and maintain strong relationships with the existing marine electronics dealer and distribution network and cultivate new business opportunities resulting in meeting or exceeding monthly sales revenue targets across the East Coast Territory. You must be pro-active and a self-starter in order to consistently motivate the dealer network and identify potential new business opportunities. Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain a dynamic relationship with key marine electronics dealers, distributors and installers with the intention of meeting or exceeding monthly sales and customer support goals. Respond to inquiries, answer questions, and educate dealers and customers about the full range of TIMEZERO software products. Identify new business opportunities and establish strategies to capture market share in the region. Utilize your technical expertise to advise dealers and end users to enhance sales opportunities. Participate in industry trade shows and events to promote Nobeltec products and services. Travel moderately to extensively up to 50% to maintain contact with key marine dealers and customers. Key months of September to early December, and January to May require more extensive travel in support of Boat Shows and marine industry exhibitions. Must provide adequate means of transportation & insurance, cellphone and personal credit card. Qualifications
Strong technical knowledge of marine electronics with understanding networking and NMEA data. Proven sales experience, preferably in marine electronics, related maritime industries or relative marine electronics installation & support experience required. Proficient use of Windows, MS Office products, computers, and basic networking. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently with limited day to day oversight. NMEA basic marine electronics and NMEA Basic N2K certification or the ability to pass the exam within 6 months of hire date. (class fees and travel covered) What We Offer
Competitive salary and commission structure. Base salary of $70,000 per year depending on experience and location, plus quarterly annual performance bonuses based on sales target.
