Job Description We have an exciting opportunity for a Territory Sales Engineer with Emerson’s Branson Ultrasonics business based in the Tennessee area. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, the Territory Sales Engineer is a key member of Branson’s Sales organization. This will be a remote, home-office based position and may be located anywhere within Tennessee or surrounding area. Responsibilities
Manage and grow sales within an assigned territory by identifying, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities. Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, and partners. Serve as the technical expert during sales presentations, product demonstrations, and customer meetings. Understand customer requirements and tailor solutions to meet their business needs. Collaborate with engineering, product management, and customer support teams to address technical questions and deliver customer-centric solutions. Prepare and deliver sales proposals, quotations, and presentations. Track and report sales activities, pipeline status, and market trends. Participate in trade shows, industry events, and customer visits to promote company products. Stay current with industry developments, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies. Achieve or exceed assigned sales targets and objectives. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field preferred. 5+ years of proven experience in technical sales or sales engineering, preferably in the industry (e.g., manufacturing, software, electronics). Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand complex products and solutions. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management abilities. Ability to travel regularly within the assigned territory. Proficiency with CRM software and the Microsoft Office suite.
