
Job Description
Worthington Enterprises Consumer Products Marketing team is looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Graphic Designer with a focus on packaging production to join our fast-paced Creative Services team. This role plays a critical part in bringing consumer products to life through thoughtful, brand-aligned, and production-ready packaging design. You’ll collaborate closely with creative leadership, regulatory, supply chain, new product development and brand partners to manage projects from concept through final release, supporting a wide range of packaging and print initiatives across multiple brands. This role will be based at our headquarters in Columbus, OH.

Key Responsibilities
Packaging & Print Design Execution
Design packaging and print materials across formats including primary and secondary packaging, promotional kits, and merchandising collateral
Translate creative direction into compelling, accurate, on-brand visuals that align with functional, regulatory, and retailer requirements
Ensure accuracy and consistency across all materials by following brand guidelines and production specs
Print-Ready Asset Production & Adaptation
Develop high-quality print-ready files and adapt packaging designs for size, structure, and format variations, including merchandising displays
Leverage AI-powered tools and production templates to enhance speed, accuracy, and scalability
Digital & Graphic Design Support
Support digital design tasks such as resizing and adapting visuals for web, email, and social media
Collaborate with designers to maintain creative alignment across physical and digital touchpoints
Production & Delivery Coordination
Prepare final files for vendor handoff, regulatory review, and internal uploads
Participate in packaging and print reviews to ensure technical accuracy and brand integrity
Maintain organized file structures and versioning practices
Brand Consistency Across Channels
Partner with the Creative Services team to ensure cohesive visual identity across packaging, print, in-store, and digital assets
Apply consistent brand elements across all assigned projects
Creative Contribution & Collaboration
Contribute to merchandising displays, packaging updates, logo & iconography design, planogram renderings, and print collateral
Participate in cross-functional creative initiatives for product launches and marketing campaigns
Professional Development & Feedback Integration
Apply feedback from senior creatives to continually improve design execution and brand understanding
Engage in design reviews, training, and skill-building to stay current on tools, standards, and packaging trends
Qualifications
Proven professional graphic design experience, with a strong focus on retail packaging and print for in-store and online
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop), with a solid understanding of pre-press workflows and packaging production standards
Demonstrated ability to design within brand, regulatory, and retailer specifications, including dielines, compliance content, and supplier guidelines
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently
High attention to detail, accuracy, and consistency across visual assets
Experience preparing production-ready, press-accurate files for supplier handoff
Comfortable collaborating across cross-functional teams including creative, digital marketing, regulatory, brand, and supply chain
Working knowledge of file management, version control, and production QA processes
Familiarity with AI-powered design tools and asset adaptation workflows
Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a growth mindset. Open to feedback and eager to improve craft and process
