Memorial Hospital (Shiloh, IL) Are you in active recovery and looking to help others with their addictions? Become a Peer Recovery Specialist with Memorial Hospital. Opportunities to share your lived experiences and help others struggling through similar situations. Create relationships with rehabilitation facilities and assist with transitioning patients to those facilities.
Day Shift: M-F (8:30am-5pm) - potential for weekend hours in the future
Engage with individuals who are going through active recovery
Complete biopsychosocial assessments, assess for levels of withdrawal
Provide support and assist in transitions of care
Mainly see patients in person with some phone/office work; Telephonic On Call Support will be a part of the role

Full-Time - 40 Hours / Week

Engage with individuals who are going through active recovery
Complete biopsychosocial assessments, assess for levels of withdrawal
Provide support and assist in transitions of care
Mainly see patients in person with some phone/office work; Telephonic On Call Support will be a part of the role
Medical Stabilization Program
Assisting Recovering Addicts
Experience
Must be in active recovery - no experience required
Passion to help others struggling with addiction
Active Recovery, Recovery Coach, CRS, Peer Advocate, Recovery Support
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED Required
Preferred Qualifications
2-5 years
Licenses & Certifications
Cert Peer Recovery Spec - IL
Valid Driver's License
