Join Our Team as a Residential Assistant Property Manager in Huntersville, NC
Claremont Company is growing and we’re looking to add an experienced and results driven Assistant Property Manager to help oversee a 288-unit property in North Carolina. We are seeking a dedicated and organized Assistant Property Manager who will support the daily operations of our residential property. This role is essential in ensuring tenant satisfaction and maintaining property standards.
Responsibilities
Greet clients, assess needs, answer questions, and provide tours of the apartments and community while delivering excellent customer service.
Respond to in-person, phone, and email inquiries, including providing leasing information and making appointments.
Assist with developing and tracking marketing strategies, including advertising, promotions, and publications.
Shop competition regularly and stay informed about their pricing, policies, lease terms, etc.
Review and inspect vacancies, make-ready apartments, and models.
Manage all aspects of the leasing process, including leasing apartments, preparing lease paperwork, and ensuring a smooth move-in.
Implement lease renewal and resident retention programs.
Inspect the property for community policy violations, needed repairs, and overall landscaping.
Assist with accepting move-out notices, maintenance service requests, and resident transfers.
Manage rent collections, late notices, and posting rent.
Handle resident relations issues, including taking resident phone calls, requests, and concerns.
Assist with completing weekly, monthly, and special reports as assigned by the Property Manager.
Experience
A minimum of 1-2 years of related leasing or property management experience.
High school diploma or equivalent is required; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to motivate and lead a team.
Yardi experience preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a timely and organized manner.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.
