Job Summary The Manager Growth Transportation‑ Fleet reports to the Director of Growth in the Midwest and will serve as a direct contributor to the overall efficiency and optimization of our organization through development and deployment of all growth activities and projects.

Responsibilities

Team Leadership and Development: Manage team leaders and client advisors, support team development and growth goals. Role includes full‑cycle hiring decisions, coaching, performance management, promotions, and terminations with Human Resources.

Performance Monitoring: Collaborate with the Director of Growth to implement comprehensive growth strategies specific to the Commercial Lines sector, identifying and prioritizing growth opportunities aligned with organizational objectives.

New Business Development: Prospect, identify, and cultivate new client relationships within the industry; leverage existing networks and industry knowledge to convert leads into clients.

Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long‑term relationships with existing clients, acting as a trusted advisor and providing tailored solutions.

Market Expansion: Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape, identifying opportunities to expand service offerings or geographic reach.

Revenue Growth: Execute strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets, driving team leaders to support client advisors in achieving goals and tracking progress on growth initiatives. Encourage growth across the region and cross‑sell opportunities.

Operational Excellence: Prepare property and casualty insurance submissions for new business prospects and renewals, including specifications for coverage lines, loss summaries, prospect profiles, and exposure schedules.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross‑functional teams—sales, marketing, operations, and human resources—to ensure alignment with growth strategies, compliance, and Acrisure modeling.

Process Improvement and Technology Integration: Support process optimization, automation, and streamlining; partner with Operations to adopt technology that maximizes client retention, growth, and profitability.

Requirements

Active P&C license.

In‑depth knowledge of selling strategies and methods, employee motivation techniques, performance catalysts, and incentive strategies.

Experience supporting the business development lifecycle.

Self‑motivation and ability to motivate others in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.

Excellent business and people decision‑making skills and problem‑solving abilities.

Ability to manage stress and handle challenges, deadlines, and aggressive financial commitments.

Deep understanding of markets, clients, and competitors.

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent insurance experience.

Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in insurance and/or financial services industries.

Excellent leadership and coaching ability; articulate and dynamic public presence.

Travel Up to 25% of time required within the Midwest Territory.

Candidates should be comfortable with an on‑site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross‑functional partnership.
