Ok. Here is the deal. You love your tiny computer… more specifically your phone… AND you love designing for the world that is social media. AND… when we say design we also mean create, film, edit, tag, and put stickers on posts… while add links in the best spots.
We are looking for a designer —maybe a unicorn, but probably just a designer—who can bring our social team's ideas to life in ways that are both very on-brand and native to social. AND… it doesn’t stop there… because… since you already love all things social media you seem to have an endless amount of ideas that could make a brand stand out from the vast sea of all things the internet or better yet social media.
Responsibilities
Concept, ideate, edit, and design assets for social media posts, commerce platform content Work with a team to take an project from brief, to concept, to final execution Thrives in collaborating with writers and art directors Is an expert in interpreting the teams think and can create multiple ways to bring the ideas to life visually Lives and breaths all things social on the internet, staying in tune with trending visual aesthetics alive within social media Uses motion design to create engaging executions Creates multiple ways in and presents their thinking to the team Studies and curates design and motion design to inspire them self and others Thrives in a world of tight deadlines and can manage multiple projects at once autonomously Practices continuous learning by staying updated on trends, tools, and technology... yes... You call yourself a graphic designer—whether self-taught or schooled, we just want folks who love design and are super good at it Familiar with social media trends and best practices for content that lives on the internet UI/UX experience and understanding of best practices Motion Design chops would really rule Master-level experience creating for social media—and, more specifically, you know what all the icons in Instagram and TikTok do without guessing Overall stoke to make anything and everything Compensation Range is: $70,000 - $90,000 annually depending on experience. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location. The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, Benefits include: health/dental/vision insurance, matching 401(k), FSA and HSA accounts, flexible vacation policy, sick time, paid parental leave, paid medical leave, STD/LTD insurance benefits, and generous holiday calendar.
