Friends at Work is seeking a Manager of Social Media & Digital Marketing to join the Artist Marketing team. Under the supervision of the Director of Fan Engagement & Digital Marketing, this role will be responsible for creating engaging social media content, managing social media calendars and posting across social media platforms for FAW’s clients. The ideal candidate is creative, innovative, and fully immersed in the culture of social media and digital marketing. This person has a strong pulse on viral trends, an early-adopter of new features and tech, and is committed to enhancing artists’ online presence through engaging content that is authentic to each clients’ unique personalities and skills. Must have basic video editing skills (especially within TikTok and Instagram apps), along with some experience posting for artist or celebrity clients. You’ll bring a mix of strategic insight, creative instinct, and executional rigor - leading the charge on digital-first marketing, content rollouts, and cultural activations. FAW’s robust musical roster includes some of the world’s most respected and beloved artists, including John Legend, Charlie Puth, The National, Arooj Aftab, and emerging talents such as Goldie Boutilier, Genia and Bren Joy. DUTIES INCLUDE

Maintain and communicate social media calendars for assigned clients across various platforms (FB, X, IG, YT, TikTok, etc.) Create engaging and shareable content (or source assets) for social media posts; liaise directly with artists for feedback and approvals Design fan engagement strategies and implement for established artists and coach emerging artists on best practices Manage fulfillment of social obligations related to brand partnerships, such as sponsored posts, social takeovers, in-person appearances, in accordance with the marketing content calendar. Work closely with managers, creative, agencies, and brands to develop content for promotion of all aspects of a client's career Manage 3rd party partners to fulfill outsourced marketing campaigns including influencer marketing agencies, content, and experiential marketing Track campaign effectiveness via analytics and campaign reports Draw insights and make recommendations to managers and artists based on monthly client engagement reports Define and refine ongoing reporting metrics to inform client strategy Attend roundtables or conferences and read articles and stay up on trends, competitors and current best practices in the digital and social media marketing Represent Management on site with artist when necessary Photograph at concerts and other client-related events REQUIRED SKILLS

Minimum of four years of digital marketing experience with a focus on social and content marketing Experience working with musician or celebrity social media preferred Experience working with brand social media is also a plus Experience with basic content capture using smart phones Experience creating professional level still image and video content is strongly preferred Experience editing video content per each social media channel’s specific requirements (Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro preferred) Ability to design or resize social media graphics from existing assets (Photoshop experience preferred) Experience with Facebook Business Manager, Creator Studio and Ad Manager; audience targeting experience required Experience with fan communities, including but not limited to Discord, Reddit and Twitch Google data and advertising tools experience a plus Have experience using social media planning tools and project management tools Must be comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced environment Must have excellent interpersonal skills, multi-tasking abilities, and a team-player attitude Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high attention to detail Must have a high technical aptitude working with Internet, software applications, and web research
