Our client is a commercial jet portfolio company. They seek a Director of Finance Operations to join their Manhattan, NY office.
Responsibilities
Design, implement, and refine financial processes to improve accuracy, efficiency, and scalability
Execute month-end and year-end close activities to ensure timely and accurate reporting
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial operations with business goals
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal controls, and audit standards
Implement and maintain financial systems, tools, and automation solutions
Prepare operational performance reports and present actionable insights to team leaders
Support internal and external audits by maintaining organized documentation and compliance
Manage vendor relationships and negotiate financial terms as needed
Coach and develop junior team members to build a high-performing operations function
Requirements
7-8 years of relevant experience
Private or combo experience
Working at a publicly traded company is preferred
Need experience leading/creating new processes
Excellent communication skills
Highly analytical and detail-oriented
