
Overview
The St. Louis Circuit Attorney’s Office is accepting applications for the position of Director of Diversion. We are a fast-paced office devoted to a culture of excellence interested in someone with over 3 years of management experience, especially familiar with areas of prosecution focused on a rehabilitative perspective. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced manager who is interested in overseeing a unit responsible for supporting non-traditional outcomes.

Duties This position includes supervising a team and handling all aspects of diversion programming involving moderately complex, low-level felonies and misdemeanors, including some victim crimes. Duties include but are not limited to:
Oversight and management of diversion case managers and a diversion prosecutor
Implementation of diversion best practices
Management of broad diversion programming with the objective of reducing recidivism among low level/low risk offenders.
Developing and maintaining cooperative relationships with St. Louis area community organizations that help support diversion efforts.
Create and deliver diversion training for the Circuit Attorney’s Office, judges, defense attorneys, community members and other stakeholders.
Oversee data collection and analysis to define and ensure program success.
Oversee and support treatment court partnership.
Other duties, as assigned.
