Overview The Social Media Content Strategist is a hands-on, execution-focused role responsible for creating, managing, and optimizing engaging social content across all Hai Hospitality brands.

This position supports the Social Media Manager by bringing brand stories to life through compelling visuals, copy, and short-form video while fostering strong online communities and evaluating performance through analytics.

This role is ideal for someone passionate about food, hospitality, storytelling, and digital culture who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Social Media Marketing & Content Creation

Support and execute social media strategy across all five Hai Hospitality brands

Create and manage social content, including caption writing, Instagram grid planning, and scheduling content in Later

Identify and execute trending short-form video formats and sounds for TikTok and Reels

Stay current on social media best practices, tools, and platform trends relevant to Hai Hospitality

Support the Social Media Manager in ensuring content is captured and published for new menu items, features, events, and new locations

Assist on-site at photoshoots and upload assets to the AIR database with proper labeling for future use

Edit photo and video content as needed to align with individual brand aesthetics

Design social graphics in Canva for promotions, events, and campaigns

Reports Directly To: Social Media and Digital Content Manager

Community Management

Grow and nurture online communities across all brands

Build brand advocacy through proactive engagement via comments and direct messages

Monitor and route guest inquiries or concerns (allergies, ingredients, feedback, etc.) to the appropriate restaurant teams

Support influencer engagement and broader social community outreach initiatives

Reporting & Analytics

Assist with monthly and quarterly social media reporting across all platforms

Analyze performance data and provide actionable insights to improve engagement, visibility, and revenue-driving efforts

Influencer Partnerships

Support and maintain relationships with established influencers

Research, build, and maintain an influencer database across all brands and markets

Assist in developing influencer programs to support campaign goals and KPIs

Act as a liaison between the brand and influencers for campaign coordination, content delivery, and agreements

Support post-campaign reporting and evaluation

General Digital Marketing Support

Assist the marketing team with digital campaign ideation for holidays, promotions, and key brand moments

Requirements

Must be located in Austin, TX

Reliable transportation to the office and on-site photoshoots

Proficiency with photo and video editing tools (Canva, CapCut, Adobe Suite, or similar)

Strong communication skills and high attention to detail

Ability to manage multiple brands and priorities in a fast-paced environment

This is a part-time role (25–30 hours per week) with in-office expectations on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 9:30am–4:30pm

Resume required, along with links to at least three relevant work samples or a portfolio

Basic Qualifications

Must be able to communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, and supervisors, including via email, phone, and in-person interactions

Ability to read, understand, and respond to written or digital documents, including emails, reports, and policies

Detect and address workplace safety issues and adhere to safety guidelines and standards

Ability to sit at a desk and use a computer or other office equipment for extended periods

Perform repetitive hand and wrist movements for typing, writing, or data entry

Lift and carry office supplies, files, or equipment weighing up to 25 lbs

Adapt to a fast-paced work environment, including managing deadlines and shifting priorities

Work collaboratively in close proximity to coworkers in shared office spaces

Tolerate exposure to standard office elements, such as artificial lighting, noise from office equipment, or climate-controlled environments

Understand and follow directives, policies, and workflows provided by supervisors or management
