Responsibilities

Represent buyers, sellers, landlords, and tenants in residential real estate transactions in accordance with New Jersey real estate laws and regulations

Prospect for new clients through networking, referrals, open houses, marketing campaigns, and lead follow-up

Conduct buyer consultations to understand client needs, financial readiness, and housing goals

List properties by performing market analyses, pricing recommendations, and preparing listing presentations

Market listings using MLS, digital platforms, social media, open houses, and brokerage-approved marketing tools

Schedule and conduct property showings, open houses, and walkthroughs

Prepare, present, and negotiate offers, counteroffers, contracts, and lease agreements under broker supervision

Guide clients through the transaction process from contract to closing, ensuring deadlines and documentation are met

Coordinate with attorneys, lenders, inspectors, title companies, and other professionals involved in the transaction

Maintain accurate records and transaction files in compliance with

NJREC

and brokerage policies

Stay informed on local market trends, inventory, pricing, and industry changes

Uphold fiduciary duties including loyalty, confidentiality, disclosure, obedience, reasonable care, and accounting

Maintain an active New Jersey real estate license and complete all required continuing education

Adhere to the brokerage’s ethical standards, policies, and procedures

Ability to work independently combined with excellent interpersonal skills

Strong sales, negotiation and communication skills

Trustworthy, reliable and motivated to build your business!

Tech Savvy: Internet, Mobile Apps, Virtual Presentations, E-mail, etc...

Salesperson or broker’s license is

REQUIRED

Qualifications

Strong communication, negotiation, and time-management skills

Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

Familiarity with NJ contracts, disclosures, and attorney review process

Experience with CRM systems, MLS, and digital marketing tools
