Director Clinical Quality & Safety - flexibility to work from home one day a week. job at S & S Consulting, Inc.. Los Angeles County, CA. A RARE OPPORTUNITY TO JOIN A PREMIER HEALTHCARE SYSTEM LEADERSHIP TEAM. This director position will oversee the clinical quality department and lead a team of nine direct reports and a few subdepartments, such as the Stroke, Sepsis, and Bariatrics Certification programs. It will also oversee the Peer review and Department review process. The position will work with medical center leadership and front-line staff to enhance compliance and patient safety. The position will also be responsible for Leapfrog, Joint Commission, Core Measures, and CMS surveys/scores.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the clinical quality department and lead a team of nine direct reports and a few subdepartments, such as Stroke, Sepsis, and Bariatrics Certification programs.
  • Oversee the Peer review and Department review process.
  • Collaborate with medical center leadership and frontline staff to enhance compliance and patient safety.
  • Responsible for Leapfrog, Joint Commission, Core Measures, and CMS surveys/scores.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum two (2) years of experience managing operational or project budgets.
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in a leadership role with direct reports.
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience with databases and spreadsheets or continuous quality improvement (CQI) tools.
  • Minimum seven (7) years of experience in a clinical setting, health care administration, or a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Nursing, Public Health, or related field AND Minimum eight (8) years of experience in health care quality assurance/improvement or directly related field OR Minimum eleven (11) years of experience in health care quality assurance/improvement or a directly related field.
