Job Summary

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Marketing Analytics Lead to drive the analytics roadmap across acquisition, lifecycle, and segmentation for a commercial banking client.

This role will lead marketing measurement and customer insights, enabling data-driven decisions throughout the customer journey—from initial engagement to long-term retention.

The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, digital-first environment and bring deep expertise in marketing analytics, campaign execution, and performance optimization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute end-to-end marketing analytics strategy across paid, owned, and earned channels.
  • Build frameworks to measure marketing effectiveness, ROI, and customer impact.
  • Establish data standards, taxonomy, and measurement protocols in collaboration with data teams.
  • Lead a team of analysts and data scientists focused on acquisition, lifecycle, and segmentation.
Acquisition Analytics
  • Partner with Growth and Channel Marketing teams to optimize digital acquisition performance across search, display, social, affiliates, and partnerships.
  • Design and implement attribution models (multi-touch, MMM, incrementality testing).
  • Deliver insights to improve cost-per-acquisition, conversion rates, and funnel efficiency.
  • Evaluate new acquisition channels using structured measurement frameworks.
Lifecycle and Retention Analytics
  • Build measurement frameworks across onboarding, activation, engagement, and retention.
  • Collaborate with CRM and Lifecycle Marketing teams to design and assess triggered communications and retention campaigns.
  • Identify behavioral and transactional drivers of churn and engagement.
  • Define success metrics and report lifecycle program performance to stakeholders.
Segmentation and Customer Insights
  • Lead customer segmentation and clustering initiatives to support personalized marketing.
  • Partner with Product and Experience teams to translate insights into differentiated journeys and offers.
  • Develop and maintain customer personas and behavioral cohorts for targeting and content strategy.
Measurement & Experimentation
  • Own marketing measurement architecture including tracking, tagging, and analytics design.
  • Promote a test-and-learn culture through A/B and multivariate experimentation.
  • Build dashboards and self-service analytics tools for marketing teams.
  • Define and manage marketing KPI hierarchy from media efficiency to customer value realization.
Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in marketing analytics, growth analytics, or digital marketing data science.
  • Deep understanding of digital channels and associated KPIs.
  • Proven experience with attribution models, MMM, and lift testing.
  • Experience integrating first-party and third-party data for analytics and personalization.
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills to bridge analytical insights with business strategy.
  • Demonstrated success in building and leading high-performing analytics teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in fintech, commercial banking, or digital-first financial services.
  • Familiarity with privacy frameworks (CCPA, GDPR) and compliant data governance.
  • Expertise with CDPs and marketing automation platforms (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Braze, Adobe).
  • Advanced degree in Quantitative Marketing, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or related field.
  • Experience with AWS and SQL Server for data insights and reporting.
  • Proficiency in Power BI for dashboarding and analytics visualization.
