Ocra CoPilot, Ocra’s revenue management division, uses internal expertise and data to grow NOI for asset owners without extra labor. For one hotel partner, MCR Hotels , Ocra generated $3.4m in gross sales and $2.5m in incremental NOI in 2023.

The company has raised a total of $4.8 million from strategic industry backers including MCR and Parker Technology.

About the Role:

The Field Marketing Manager role blends event marketing with sales enablement.

This invaluable team member will own strategy and execution for all in-person and virtual events in which Ocra is a host, exhibitor, or attendee.

Additionally, they’ll ensure that our Sales & Customer Success teams have the marketing support required for successful roadshows and client experiences.

This person must be able to stay in front of all of the behind-the-scenes details – timelines, design deliverables, registration lists, contractor coordination, & more – to make sure events run on time and on brand.

We're looking for somebody who understands that events are bigger than booths and badges; they're an essential part of our revenue engine as we continue to rapidly grow.

Ocra is a fully remote company. But this role involves some planning & executing for in-person events in Chicago, so candidates based in the Chicagoland area (or within a reasonable travel distance) will be prioritized .

Direct Responsibilities:

Own tradeshow strategy and execution – incl. booth design, giveaways, collateral, sponsorships, parties, gifting, and pre/post-event communications and promotion

Ensure Sales Team has the marketing materials required to execute successful roadshows

Support our in-person partner interview video series by communicating with guests, coordinating logistics, and amplifying episodes

Drive the logistics of Ocra-owned webinars and other virtual events

Secure high-visibility parking and hospitality industry placements for Ocra execs, such as panel or webinar seats, presentation slots, awards, and tech pitch competitions

Build and manage relationships with industry organizations and thought leaders

Help manage logistics & planning for team offsites

Qualifications

Located in the Chicagoland area

3–5 years of experience event planning and execution

Experience working with photographers, videographers, & other contractors

Experience working directly with Sales teams to help them be successful at events

Strong interpersonal skills – you make people feel welcomed, comfortable, and special by delivering thoughtful experiences in line with Ocra’s “rising tide lifts all ships” ethos

Strong project management skills and attention to detail – you’re the one who keeps things moving, tracks every to-do, and sees blockers before they happen

Comfort with tools like HubSpot, Google Suite, Notion, and Canva

Knack for writing clear, concise, consistent communication

Can work independently but loves working collaboratively

Experience in a fast-paced, start-up environment
