Senior Staff Product Designer • AI Projects
Intuit is seeking a Senior Staff Product Designer who loves AI and collaborates closely with developers, product managers, and AI scientists. You will help unleash the power of AI for an innovative product, set the foundations, and deliver a vision for a cutting‑edge user experience.
Responsibilities
- Apply design thinking to complex AI/ML/data/analytics problems and deliver innovative end‑to‑end user experiences that optimize across user needs, business goals, and technological realities.
- Transform abstract concepts and technical details into clear and compelling designs that innovate.
- Conduct and oversee research both qualitative (contextual inquiry, prototype testing) and quantitative (usage analytics) to report trend patterns, recommendations, provocations, and rapid iterations.
- Deliver visions, storyboards, presentations, detailed interaction specs, wireframes, and prototypes.
- Communicate designs effectively to leaders, partners, and customers.
- Collaborate closely with product managers and engineers to deliver engineering‑ready designs.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of mobile & consumer or enterprise experience in interaction design, product design, or a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in design, HCI, or a relevant field; Master’s preferred.
- Deep knowledge of design principles and methods.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Expertise conveying ideas and solutions through storyboarding, wireframing, and prototyping.
- Mastery of design tools such as Figma, Sketch, XD.
- An updated online portfolio.
- Comfortable with rapid experimentation, iteration, and outside‑the‑box thinking on a fast‑moving, high‑visibility team. Experience with executive‑level communication.
- Bonus: Application of AI/ML in experiences, HTML/CSS prototyping skills, vibe coding/designing tools.
Compensation: Bay Area California $194,000 – $262,500. Eligible for cash bonus, equity rewards, and benefits in accordance with our applicable plans and programs. Pay is based on job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. To promote fair pay, Intuit conducts regular comparisons across categories of ethnicity and gender.
