Location: Austin, TX (Remote)
Job Summary
You will be part of the Retail Sales team working as a remote employee in your territory, managing Home Depot and Lowes accounts. Duties include daily account visits, analyzing sales metrics in Salesforce, Power BI, and ShowPad, and developing customer routing schedules.
Responsibilities
- Drive top line sales to meet quarterly and annual POS goals.
- Partner with Store and District Managers to align strategies with retail goals.
- Analyze POS by store and promotional performance to develop individualized store and territory sales plans.
- Work with Sales Operations to ensure proper inventory for promotional activities.
- Drive execution strategy based on trends and SKU level detail by analyzing Power BI and Salesforce data.
- Sell in and execute national event activations to drive sales and gain market share.
- Implement national overdrive strategies to promote product sell-through and identify key territory opportunities.
- Engage Store and District Key Decision Makers on initiatives and develop customized solutions.
- Partner with retail service partners to conduct monthly district meetings and quality walks.
- Leverage sales enablement tools to identify sales gaps and create plans to close them.
- Drive effective inventory management and order writing with retail partners and develop exit strategies for Special Buy promotions.
- Maintain key relationships with professional end-users through product and services solutions.
- Execute monthly job site visits aligned with retailers’ pro strategies.
- Effectively manage budgets (T&E, Demo Tool, etc.) to drive profitability.
Qualifications
- 3‑5 years of retail sales experience in consumer goods industry.
- Willingness to travel regionally and work occasional weekends (8‑10 annually).
- Capability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as climbing ladders and standing for hours.
- Ability to analyze Power BI and Salesforce data to develop strategic growth plans.
- Understanding of IT business systems (BW, Salesforce.com, Tool Commerce) and Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Must pass drug test & MVR.
